Have You Been Ripped Off By Your HD Radio? Inquiring Lawyers Want To Know!

"whether consumers are being forced to purchase technology " I wonder how much "HD" adds to the cost of a car radio? $20? $50? I can see the class action lawsuit results now.. everyone who is a plaintiff will get a $2.50 coupon toward a new HD radio! And the law firm will collect millions.

The main point should be that maybe this is the swift kick in the ass radio management needs to get this situation sorted out! From what i understand, they've been going back & forth with the FCC to add power to the HD signal (ya know, so you can hear it in buildings and cars), but nothing is happening.

As an HD radio owner, I can say that I'm glad someone is finally doing something about this. I got an HD in-dash receiver for the car, and a table top for home. In the car, there are times where it cuts out (and some channels don't come in at all), but for the most part, the HD 2 & 3 channels I like come in OK. The table top is a joke. I can't get an HD signal to save my life. I bought a powered antenna, still no help....Oh, and tried to return the table top because I didn't get what i paid for. No dice.

There are some great channels and great potential for HD - add power, let me listen (get what I paid for).
