ALLENTOWN -BETHLEHEM SPRING RATINGS 12+

WODE 11.8

WCTO 10.7

WAEB-F 9.7

WLEV 7.0

WZZO 6.3 ....anyone have any other dayparts or demos ? or does Pickle want to apologize to BGW again ?

that aint too bad. they did better in the last list. but their still ahead of YSP. i just wish YSB and WWYY beat ZZO

Holy Smokes! Look at WGPA!

Holy smokes! Look at WGPA! laugh at them all you want but that is by far the best rating they've EVER had in my history of reading these valley ratings. you folks are talking about the bone? look who beat the bone! WGPA! nice nice book for timmer and company. since these books rate the a.m., i think a lot of the credit needs to go to BK the DJ who does monday thru wednesday mornings with solid gold oldies ... proves the valley misses the oldies. imagine if timmer kept the polka and brokered shows during the weekend and did all oldies during the weekdays. i think he'd beat WAEB-AM.

Allentown is a fun market... you can get under a 2.0 and still take pride in the fact that you're a top 10 station. lol

By and large WGPA mostly plays oldies. Bobby Koch, Ned Richards, and Rob Carson definitely feature the 50's and early 60's. Capwell does the big band swing thing on weeknights. Other jocks are more flexible and play a lot of 60's, 70's, and even some 80's. Sometimes more trendy modern stuff may be thrown in but things are much more focused than in the past.

All praise to the radio god of the Valley....Mr Bill Sheriden. His track record speaks for it's self. 8)

ive never said anything bad about WGPA ;)

#11 aint too bad for the bone though, especially since it only covers the eastern edge of the market, it cuts out on 78 in fogelsville, but yet it goes another 20-25 miles south on the NE Extension. (go figure). the furthest down in bucks ive heard it was in the New Hope area whwn me and a friend were going to the Van Sant Bridge, after it cut out, ZZO was still in. if they had the coverage of the valleys best signal (WLEV) The Bone would probably be ahead of ZZO, but The Bone only covers ZZO's local range. after you get out of "the red" for ZZO the bone is soon to go, when you still got 30 more miles left with z95

I am in Lansdale, Montco and The Bone comes in loud and clear here. So much so that it used to beat up my XM MyFi set to 107.1 (you didin't have much choice of frequencies with a first gen MyFi).
