HD radio in the Tampa/St. Pete/Sarasota area

As a matter of fact the only -14dbc in SRQ is WTZB

WHPT 102.5 is also -14dbc and licensed to Sarasota with transmitter in Manatee County.

My apologies, I always consider WHPT a Tampa signal. I stand corrected.

I will look into the RDS issues with RDS on WCTQ and WSRZ. I know I have had IP connectivity issues and that may be resulting in the described performance issues but we will get them ironed out.

Quesstion: Who makes the best portable HD radio, one that pulls in all the HD 2, 3, 4 channels?

970 has changed their ID. It downplays the HD-2 ID.

Interesting inasmuch as 97.9 is generally considered as the front runner to picking up the FM simulcast when WFLA eventually goes to FM.

Jeff in Sa-ra-so-ta!
