A spokesperson for the Detroit Pistons admits that HD radio interference from adjacent stations to WDFN (1130 AM) at night may have played a factor in the team moving their games to WXYT (97.1 FM/1270 AM) a couple of years ago:
“That was one of the components... They had a weak signal and we were getting a lot of people that could not hear us. It could have been HD Radio, but at the time we were totally unaware of it.”
