Perhaps a little know fact that Ed McMahon was the announcer for Hy Lit's Saturday Block Party TV Show on WCAU TV in the '50. It was a summertime afternoon show that aired live from the back lot outside of WCAU TV's studio on City Line Av. I have some pictures of the show around here. I'll try to scan a few and get them up. First I have to get a scanner.

Sorry to see the passing of one of the giants of broadcasting.
