I have absolutely no doubt Rutley can run this place better. Those suits at Nassau are "deader" than dead. It appears to be a living nightmare at Nassau.

I wouldn't say they are dead yet. Not when lawyers are still working on them

You're not too far off target - Aside from sexual harrassment, verbal abuse, threats and unjust firings, it seems there was plenty of slander going on over there as well. Nassau is shooting themselves in the foot here.

Imus is not fired yet! It would seem the tables have turned in Vox’s favor after recent events. While I was working for Nassau during the transition we (the employees) were fooled into thinking all will be better under the Nassau “Regime” - but were we in for a big surprise! Not only were we (the employees) told that Nassau was going to make vast improvements to the stations- When is that Q studio being moved again? But we were told by the owner himself that there will be no changes to staff. HAH!!! At first - there was not any changes and all seemed very comforting, But as these thing progress, changes were made. 1st it was staff cuts to the office, then minor cuts to the on-air staff (part timers first) then morning shows quite and new ones hired and then they QUITE!!! and recently the big gun was taking out. It is.... what it is! I for one knew what was to come of this new company like any other real-estate “BROKER” that claims to be a broadcasting company, and got out of town when I could still leave on my own. As for the dismissal of Heath Cole, this came as a shock! Not only was he the nuts and bolts of those 4 radio stations— but apparently the only programmer at Nassau with a clue! “Lets cut the inventory of songs” “No one likes variety” “ Listeners are stupid and won’t know the difference” “Besides, they will listen if we pretend to throw money at them” Oh yes and my favorite: “Listeners won’t realize we are running the same promotion on all of our stations— We’ll change the name of the promotion for every station!” These quotes of course are only paraphrases of what was stated by some and what was happening. But — of course we all know why Mr. Cole was let go... Not for any “re-structuring” in fact his job is already filled! Maybe it was that Heath was payed too much? Maybe? But what I think most people think is that it was personal— someone didn’t like their thunder muffled... More like a brief drizzle. You better let the ones go who may one day let you go! Although Heath may be a little thrown aside by this.... Take it from someone who has seen the other side of the fence Heath— You were too talented for those hack stations anyway! I could go on ranting about Nassau and there management for paragraphs, but I digress!

Lets just leave it with one comment,

Mark good hiring skills on the VT VP of Programming and Nassau another job WELL-DONE!!!

Sincerely
Chip Chandler

He has been replaced? By whom? Did Don Matson come out of his undisclosed location bunker? I can't understand how anyone would want to take a job with this company after all that's happened in the past month!

I hear Andy Mack has taken up the job of programmer for The Wolf some drunk on the Q is programmer and Oldies is running well-done these days... Doug is now the opperation manager there.... But why would a company fire someone who did it all???? Are the two newbies only getting paid half what Heath was???
Still I know what Heath made and he could claim it on his taxes as a donation of time! And don't forget they had to factor in half for Weldon... This rate they are spending more money then with just Heath. Thats why I stand by my first statement that this is personel!!! And again, "you better let the ones go who may one day let you go"
