Ordered a copy of this set today, just being able to have that nifty PBS show-closing logo on DVD makes it that much sweeter.

Anybody know if it's true that Jim Boyd (the guy who played J. Arthur Crank, among others) is the same Jimmy Boyd who had a hit with "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus" back in the early '50s? Can never know how much to trust what I read on Wikipedia...

Do they? Never seen the DVD, I thought the 70s PBS closer would be replaced with the one for Sesame Workshop.

It's the old 70's one all right, with the blue, orange and green PBS logo.

I bought this DVD set and my children (and I) LOVE it! For me, it's the "minor" sketches that seem to jog the nostalgia switch. We all remember Spiderman, Letterman, Jennifer of the Jungle, etc. But how many of us remember the "Greedy Greg grabbed the green grapes" rap? Or the "It's the plumber, I've come to fix the sink" routine?

Oh, and the Tom Lehrer songs are great, too!
