Helen Little Named PD Of WWPR/New York

CLEAR CHANNEL Urban WWPR (POWER 105.1)/NEW YORK SVP & Market Manager ROB WILLIAMS and SVP Programming and Marketing TOM POLEMAN have tapped HELEN LITTLE to replace NATE BELL as PD of WWPR.
POLEMAN was upbeat about their choice: “ROB and I have known HELEN for some time and can speak first hand of her abilities. She is an outstanding programmer, manager and leader, with a tremendous amount of experience and passion for winning. She’s going to be a fantastic addition to our team.”
WILLIAMS agreed, stating “I have always been impressed by HELEN’s ability to build and lead a team of high achievers. She knows what it takes to win and she does it with great style.”
LITTLE comes to POWER from RADIO ONE in PHILADELPHIA, where she has served as cluster programmer for Top 40/Rhythmic WPHI (100.3 THE BEAT), Urban AC WRNB (THE NEW 107.9) and Black Gospel WWPZ (PRAISE 103.9). LITTLE was excited about her new opportunity. "I am truly excited and feel totally blessed to have the opportunity to be a part of the POWER 105.1 family! Being back in NEW YORK as well as working with TOM POLEMAN and ROB WILLIAMS again is something I really look forward to. I've been a fan of this station since it first signed on and now I get to be a part of what makes it great!" HELEN LITTLE is scheduled to start on AUGUST 1st.
