Hello From the Southwest Portion of the Great State of Florida!

Hello RD members, I've been a member since 2007 with extensive knowledge of top 40 music from the 1950's onward. I've collected every single Billboard popular #1 single on original 45 RPM records since 1955 into 1990. Living in Southern California most of my life and listening to oldies radio and Top 40 stations in the 1970's and 80's, I've come to appreciate the heritage and glory of Southern California radio from that time and got me hooked on older music and radio formats. I worked for six years at Contemporary Christian KWVE 107.9 from 1987 through early 1993 as a board op, playing music off carts and sermons recorded on reel to reel tape. Even engineered a live call in show for a time. My screen name is oldies76, derived from roughly my first year listening to current music in the car back then. It's been a nice ride since.
