"Archives" of what? Video? Audio? Magazines? Memorabilia? Even bumper stickers?
Videos, audio, anything.
It's hard!!
American Movie Classics did some studies in 2000, and figured out that half of all movie film shot before 1950 was already gone!
The entire archive of the Dumont Television Network was ordered melted for silver recovery by a short sighted bankruptcy judge!
A few random clips hang around Phew Tube but other than that its gone!
