Help Jax Radio History Buffs. WZAZ-FM aircheck to Identify

Am I correct in labeling a WZAZ aircheck as 92.7 mHz - The jingle on the Urban Contemporary formatted station aircheck sang WZAZ Jacksonville, no mention of Green Cove Springs. It's in stereo, and has some FM fade in it too. That rules out recorded on AM in Stereo on a good bandwith reciever/tuner, if WZAZ 1400 ever was in stereo. I don't think it was. I'll have the check my listings.

The longform aircheck is about 45 minutes long. I just dubbed it to hard drive.

Did WZAZ have an AM and FM simulcast ever??

Was WZAZ (no FM suffix in the jingle) -FM ever licensed to Jax? (I don't think it ever was)

Was WZAZ (-FM) on 92.7 mHz?

Just curious - and I want to label this correctly.

Yes WZAZ FM was on 92.7 around 1989, it did simulcast the AM. I remember this as we were doing equipment tests on 92.5 at the time. Mark Picus aka Jack The Bellboy was the owner.

Is that the Pressure Cooker aircheck I gave you?? Early 1991. Recorded off of FM, when AM and FM were simulcasting.

Thanks, Godfather of Airchecks... I'll have to listen again, but it seems they play an ID that's appropriate for 1400 but not for simulcasting 92.7... Indeed, it's the Pressure Cooker aircheck.
