Hemmert Makes Radio Hall Of Fame, Dahl Does Not

I've not kept up with Dahl at all, though I listened to him all the time, as a kid.

Is he still being punished for the Comisky Park Disco Fiasco?

Also, NPR's Carl Kasell beats out Howard Stern in the active national personality category.
...Howard's been telling people on the air NOT to vote for him in Bruce DuMont's joke of a museum. That he isn't already in, while Limbaugh was ballot-stuffed into it in 1992(?!!?), shows how huge a joke it is. Norman Corwin was added to it the same year as Limbaugh but refused to attend, so as to not have to share a stage with that fascist blowhard......

Not everybody agrees with your opinion on Limbaugh as his ratings prove.

Just wondering WHY Howards opinion is great, (he's not on the radio anymore, is he?)

....but Rush is a "facist blowhard."

Does someone have their crabby pants on today?

Can anyone look at the quality of the work of a personality, while turning off the personal biases to do it.

I can understand why a lot of people do not like his politics. This is America..you are entitled.
When you look at the quality of his work; production, preparedness, able to keep an audience when you cannot stand
the message, you must give credit where credit is due.

Dear Hoos, with all due respect, the answer is NO.

"Quality of his work." Howard Stern = an 11 year old boy with his first woodie, a giggly kid telling dirty jokes all day. See? quality to me is wgn. You surely disagree.

YOUR personal biases are quite different than mine, or even than the kind people who attempt to censor this board.

"Quality" is CERTAINLY subjective. Quality to ME is NOT Stern, or Dahl. You and Mr. Ultimajock probably enjoy Jerry Lewis, too. Not me.

Prais, I am not a fan of Howard Stern. I was meaning the like of Limbaugh, Paul Harvey, etc. While I know they are right leaning
commentators, you do not get audience numbers consistently over a period of years by being boring and repetitve. What I was saying was take the political biases out of the equation and look at their work as a whole.
