Herald I-Track hints: Bruins to WZLX (not confirmed...)

Getting back on track for a second, it strikes me that CBS combining its sports coverage on one station, or at least all on the FM band, would make perfect sense.

That's probably why it won't happen.

There's gotta be some yahoo somewhere in that company that will find a reason to block it.

After all, this is radio we're talking about :D

FYI, there is more to urban radio than hip hop. Another stereotype. School yourself on gospel, R&B, old school, socca, reggae, jazz. Soul. Black oriented Newscasts.

I'm sorry...should I reference Bill Broonzy, or drop some lyrics from Aretha's "Go Up Moses?" Perhaps play some Scott Joplin for you? And yeah...I've stood in Congo Square. Can you say the same?

Who's stereotyping now?

"Black oriented newscasts" What? I guess it's not racism if it's self-imposed.

The fact is...you're wrong. Urban stations didn't work in Boston. It's been proven. They were there, and they didn't make money, or garner ratings. You want to see how Urban radio should be done, take a trip to Memphis. WDIA does it right...AND wins.

You have an opinion. I have tangible evidence that refutes you. Next!
