Yeah, I would agree. I've heard trup come off with some VERY clever lines during a game, he is more observant than Joe is, and knows how to "cover" for Joe when he makes a mistake. I'm really going to miss him next year.

there's no crying in baseball. i am not shedding any tears for trup. he didn't bring any fun
to the broadcast. get someone young and obnoxious in there like ryen russillo or jon metaparel to stir something up. three hours in a slow game seems like forever on 85-degree night sitting in traffic on 93. trup just didn't know how to fill the time in a clever and witty way. no big loss for sure.
