It was a no-brainer that "Hung Up" would get a nomination. I hope that Madonna will win this category, but I think that Shakira will up being the winner here.

I would have liked Cascada to get a nomination for their "Everytime We Touch" video as well, but it isn't surprising that they were passed up, considering the big major label politics that go into who gets nominated for what. :mad:
 
YOU CALL THOSE DANCE VIDEOS!?!?!? :mad: I hope Madonna gets the award.

Other ones who should get the nod.

That new video by Chocolate Puma, Johan Gielen (saw some of his videos), Benny Benassi, etc.

The list you put here is more like a dance/urban mix....<Dance should have its own videos and own show.

What the heck is MTV doing that is destroying dance????? I am asking.
 
I'm sorry, but if those are the nominees, then Madonna wins by default--considering I did not hear Hung Up once on any Philly station (can't count WPST).

For Cascada to not be nominated is a disgrace. She'd win with the tune 'Miracle', but Everytime We Touch is like 2 years old if I recall correctly. So that's why, in my estimation, that she probably was not nominated.
 
Madonna is the only qualification in my book regarding dance.

Now, if MTV was more OPEN about dance music....here would be a more proper nomination.
