94.7 WLIX-LP/Ridge, NY flipped about a month back to "Long Island's Easy Favorites". Lots of 60s, 70s and some 80s.

Does that reach New York City? They desperately need something like this as their so-called Lite station is one of the worst offenders, or was.
 
Just listened in. Sounds like a decent soft AC.

It is an LP at 21 watts with a 210 antenna. That won't matter except for reception problems
around the local area.
 
The station's ERP is 21 watts, it's a 100watt transmitter on a TV tower. It seems to have about a 10 mile radius in Suffolk County.
 
The station broadcasts in mono. (I seem to remember that the signal gets out further that way.)
