Here's some old Miami radio aircheck's and photo's from 1974......Enjoy!

An old friend of mine that I use to work with at WWOK/WIGL-FM in Miami in 1974, Pat Appleson now doing
voice over work out of the Carolina's offer's up a whole bunch of photo's from WWOK and some aircheck's, info about Bwana Johnny at WFUN, WQAM, Robert L on WMYQ, jingles included, WCMQ WFAB both latin stations during that era and not to leave out a few minutes of afternoon drive on WIOD and John Emm on 93.9FM the Magic Bus WBUS which later became Love 94. Remember John and Barbra Emm, they were really nice people to work and party with.

I figured some of you Miami radio oldster's on-air talent like me who read the Miami thread will remember most of these people, and yes I can toot my own horn I'm in some of the pictures, and yes photo's of my gal Toni Crabtree, that name should ring a bell or two, she's such a sweet heart!

If y'all haven't seen any of this stuff before you might enjoy it, WWW.appleson.com, Pat Appleson studios and scroll down and check it out!

Well all I have to do is figure out, from all the "Chucks" I know, which one is "Stormy". I just happened to be cruising thru this board and read about my largesse. But, it's true, I've got many photos of my time in Miami. Actually, I'm still doing Hi Def Video Post for a number of clients in FL. So, I'm done there frequently.
Anyway, take a look and listen too. There is a couple of big buttons on the home page for the latest Radio Reunions that we had a hand in. WFUN and the WWOK multi station Doo. Some of the airchecks that the Chuckmeister spoke about are kind of hard to find. So. push the Talent button, then scroll down to just above "Pat's Country Classics"®. You'll see a hot link that says: To Old Air Checks Page. That will put you on to some stuff that I personally taped a few years ago. (grin). Plus, under Photos, The Latest Stuff, you can keep up with what I'm doing lately. In addition to all the photos above, the PHOTO button has lot's of radio stuff, from when I worked Detroit, etc. If you have insomnia, tune in, 15 minutes of this stuff and you'll pass out!
The real news is I'm going back on Radio. It's over the air in London, England and on the net. The new, Pat's Country Classics®, runs Sunday only for three hours on KNOT-FM. It debuts Feb. 5th. at 10am EST. Tune In: www.knotfm.co.uk - I'll soon be streaming from my web site among other things. - And don't forget if you know anyone that needs location Hi Def VIdeo production and post or Event Hi Def Stills. Send them over. I pay big spiffs to the tipster on the day of the shoot. You could make a few hundred bucks by just mentioning my name.
Best Regards
Pat
ps..... let me know what you like on the web site. www.appleson.com

A most impressive collection, while all these guys were on Coral Way, I was out babysitting the transmitters on 137'th Ave.
Never knew Graveline did a stint at WIGL, I worked with him at WKAT.
Illeana Bravo graduated frpom WIGL to spend many years as a reporter at channel ten.
Anyone ever hear WCFL's Barney Pip on WWOK.

A great time at "IGL in '74. I was lucky enough to be hired as a weekender there. There was Dave Graveline, Shirley Peters, Joel Kaplan (PD), Jeff Lemlich, Bob Gordon, Natalie Siegel, Ileana Bravo...
