THANK YOU,THANK YOU ,THANK YOU .....
This proves what I basically said... They have someone who is going by what she feels is right and not by actual thought, with others having to explain it away...
Yeah Rock 93.7 had low 12+... but let's see, it's making money and is doing great in target demo.. But she wanted to try a "jack" in BR... I'm just waiting on to see if people will like it, or decide it's a bad shuffle mode and tune out... (watch after the "jacks and jills" die (due to poor PDing) to actually make it with classic hits IMO)
Same thing with Diva 103...Kill a station that was doing half pack ratings for a format that isn't half that in your market!!!
Now that I hear her idea for diva, I like it more than the one in NOLA, it could use tweaks however(killing disco definitely) but having two divas (name I mean) is just gonna confuse the people with the digests and possibly give one credit the other deserved... Or just tuning out cause the imaging sucks (I have found men who like the overall music rotation but hate the imaging)
When they fail to do what is promised... I want to see their idea of fixing it up... They have some good ideas..but implimation sucks...
Also, It may be time to learn how to cross promote with New Orleans... I'd love to see the DIVA NOLA move to 106.1 and rock take over the 92.3 spot.. Then we'd see lower numbers (for rock music) but higher revenue IMO
