Hey 103.5 the bomb , don't tell me who to vote for !!!!!!!!!!!!

Booo (thumbs down !) to 103.5 the bomb in Sacramento. Yesterday I was listenign to 103.5 the bomb and listening to the Saturday mix show, and I heard , it was not a political commercial it was promo .

the promo went like this, with the annoucer saying 103.5 the bomb encourages you to vote and exercise your voice this Tuesday November 4, I was cool with that so far,

then they recorded some lady and said it's time for a change, Go Oabama . and to that we should vote for Obama because he is for a woman's right to choose.

Shame on you 103.5 the bomb for telling me who I should and sshouldn't vote for.

103.5 the bomb you get thumbs down from me !!!!

at least the other stations that I listen to are not telling me who to vote for. KSFM 102.5 doesn't tell us who to vote for at least I haven't heard anything pro Oabama or Pro McCain and Sports 1140 doesn't tell me who I should vote for.

do you know why they don't tell me who to vote for or do you know why KSFM and KHTK Sports 1140 doesn't run commercials or promos on who to vote for ??

It's because it's not a radio station place to tell me who to vote for, it's not not a radio stations place to say Go Oabama .

The radio stations place is to entertain radio listeners and get clients and sponsors not to tell me who to vote for.

Thumbs down to 103.5 and don't tell me who to vote for !!

thank you to the other radio stations for who are not running promos saying Go Oabama and that it's time for a change.

God bless you and all your family and friends from Phillip from Galt !

Sounds like it was a caller voicing an opinion, not the station promoting Obama. But talk show hosts voice strong opinions on their preference, what's the difference? Either way, you're in trouble if you pay attention to ANY recommendation. Think for yourself

Think for yourself...Why is this bothering you. Isn't all these AM right wing talk station promoting McCain with the likes of Michael Savage, Rush, Sean Hannity, etc etc. So what's the difference with 103.5 making a promo endorsing a candidate they want? I don't think it's a big deal. I listen to people endorse McCain and Obama all the time, but I know who I want to win. I don't worry about what a person on the radio says and think for myself...Ok so I hope if you do vote tomorrow, you think for yourself and not worry so much what you hear on the radio...

103.5 wasn't telling you who to vote for. they were telling people to voice there opinon and get out to vote. I though it was a great idea. for them to be doing that!

Exactly - especially since the KBMB listening audience (read: skewed younger) traditionally has not shown up in great numbers at the polls. Today's the day. Get out & vote.
