Hey If LIN bought a station in Oregon, why don't they get one in California?

I know since Newport Television has sold all of their TV stations (except for the remaining five), maybe there's a possibility that LIN may buy KGPE (CBS), Fresno & KGET (NBC), Bakersfield from them. Do you think it would be good for LIN to enter California, since they don't own any stations in Cal yet?

LIN Television has owned 24% (I know, I know -- a "minority stake") of San Diego's NBC station KNSD since 1997. So one could say they've been in the TV biz in CA for a while. But surely they wouldn't mind a few more CA stations to operate -- ones which they have majority control and/or full ownership of...
