I wonder how many of us old schoolers were bitten by the radio bug thanks to Heathkits, Knight Kits or other items like that?

Gee, I never knew such a great radio existed. I was too busy burning up the motor on my mom's turntable trying to learn how to cue records.

Yep, Heathkits ... wonderful stuff!

The hat? Well, I think that kid probably would have gotten a black eye just for wearing something like that at my school, although I think JP would look nice in one. ;)
