Have always been interested in radio from the time I was a kid. Spent military career in the signals intelligence field, but didn't have the standard career for a signals intelligence officer. Taught new signals intelligence officers the basics of radio communications. These days, long retired, have my little 'radio club', where I share my knowledge with a young neighbor lad; we study materials and spend time using a multi-band radio, walkie-talkies, and a scanner, as the mood strikes us.
