Hip Hop Music on 92.3 in Louisville

For the last three nights, I have been hearing hip hop music on 92.3 in Downtown Louisville. I have been trying to suffer through the music to hear a station ID or image. I finally heard two announcers, a male and a female, mentioning the station as "Party 92.3" and were promoting a party at Club Oasis in Downtown Louisville and another party hosted by Louisville hip hop station WGZB-FM 96.5. Then, the male announcer gave thanks to a local McDonalds for correctly making the cheeseburger he had purchased. The announcers audio was overmodulated as well. I never heard a station ID or image. It sounds like a pirate to me. They can be heard fairly well in Downtown Louisville but they fade away in east Louisville. Has anyone else heard this hip hop mess on 92.3? I sure hope this is not a real station in development since there are too many hip hop music on the Louisville airwaves with WGZB-FM 96.5 and WZKF-FM 98.9.

There are a couple of LPFMs in the process of setting up a timeshare on 92.7. I'm sure the folks at WFPK (91.9) would be interested in this as well.
______________

Kiss FM is a CHR, not a Hip Hop station. Both Kiss and rival 99.7 DJX play Hip Hop hits, although WZKF is a bit more Rhythmic-friendly.
As for B-96, isn't their signal somewhat limited in range, and spotty in many parts of the metro?

Yes, I am aware that KISS FM is a CHR and not a Hip Hop station. I didn't mention that KISS was a hip hop station. However, it seems that hip hop music dominates their playlist with it's CHR/Rhythmic lean. 99.7 DJX seems to be adding more dance tracks to their playlist and not as much hip hop.

Yes, B-96.5 is spotty in many parts of the metro area. However, considering hip hop is usually not a top biller in this market, it seems that the hip hop audience are well-served with B-96.5 alone. Then you have the addition of the tremendous amount of hip-hop music on KISS 98.9 as well. So far, 92.3 FM has been on the air all weekend with hip hop music. I don't know if 92.3 is a pirate or a LPFM. I heard an announcer on 92.3 mentioning an email address for listeners to send their questions and suggestions. However, I have yet to hear a legal ID on this frequency.

B-96 has a construction permit to change their community of license from Corydon to Lanesville, and move their tower to the east, across the river from Pleasure Ridge Park. The move will put most of Jefferson County at 60 dBu or better, and all of Jefferson and Bullitt Counties will be in at least the 50 dBu contour.
______________
