If they're approved for Franklinton and do decide to move closer in afterwards, they will have to employ quite a directional signal and, most certainly, a significant power downgrade, as they share 88.5 with Winston-Salem's WFDD and Scott's Hill's WZDG (there's WZNB in New Bern, but they have a CP to move to 88.1), not to mention that 88-89 Mhz block is pretty crowded in our region (First adjacents WUAW/Erwin 88.3, WRVL/Lynchburg at 88.3, WXDU/Durham at 88.7 and WAGO/Pink Hill at 88.7, ; second adjacents WKNC/Raleigh 88.1 and WSHA/Raleigh at 88.9). I seriously doubt you'd see many of their myriad translators become obsolete even with such a move-in.
