Is there any page that documents the history of sports radio in Las Vegas?
LV seemed to play a major role at the beginning of national sports radio. I recall two of the then three sports networks (Sports Entertainment Network and Sportsfan Radio Network) originating from there in the early 90's.
Those networks played a major role, I think, in nationalizing the "west coast" style of in your face, Gen-X sports talk, as opposed to the pompous "Mike and Mad Dog" style back east. Did these networks evolve from the sports book scene in a formal sense? Anyone have any recall of that period to share?
