Holy Crap! Look What 104.3 K-Big Los Angeles Played Last Night! :)

Looks like K-Big is right now taking hints from both New York's 103-5 KTU, and Mix 102.7, as well as Diva in Louisiana.
During the daytime there's a LOT of Dance Gold, while after 7 PM there's more 90s and current Dance.
Songs by 4 Strings, Deep Dish, Basement Jaxx, and more were played after midnight.
They also played the Vengaboys "Boom Boom Boom Boom" around 11:30 PM, and Rozalla's "Everyboidy's Free" around 10 PM, IIO's "Rapture" and Amber's "Sexual" around 8:15 PM .

You're not the only one who noticed it(I was listening online). Something must really be up at KBIG, and it isn't the ratings.

Looks like they are headed toward the Rhythmic AC Direction. Their are still a lot of songs that look out of place on that list, like Duran Duran-Save a prayer, but hell, you ought to see how train wrecked some of the european stations are, it helps keep them from being so predictable.

I was in the L.A. area this past month and I have to tell you I really enjoyed listening to K Big. Was very surprised, hope they do well.

It's a programming term for music scheduling. Disco, Latin, Angry Pop Female.... You sound code songs so you don't have the same kind of song playing with in a given span.

And this criticism comes from a person who didn't last as a PD....maybe that's why K-Big will suceed
