After 72 years, Carter Broadcast Group inspires new generations of talent in an era when Black broadcast ownership represents a sliver of the market and is on the decline.

I listened to KPRS-FM often in the early 1970s (using a vacuum tube based Zenith mono FM table radio [got that fabulous tube sound :) ]).

I also listened often with my Radio Shack car FM to AM converter (installed in 1987-09) when in the KC area, now I have it as a radio preset and I recently bought a song (from Amazon) I heard on KPRS in the car as soon as I got home to my PC.

I sometimes listen to K103.3 HD2 (only have HD reception at home).
