I guess I should also point out that upset little fellow could be G101s best bet for an increase in the ratings. I would imagine if he gets a diary and is honest it will show he listens ALL the time. He seems to. It must be "what he does" since he is the end all expert on all things radio.

First of all, Howard is Howard...Ace & TJ will NEVER be Howrad. Bob & Tom don't have "midwest accents". As a matter of fact, NEITHER of them are from Indy where the show is based, Bob is actually from LA and I am not sure where Tom. They are free of regionalisms.

You see its the one that can to the whole trip. Its the one other travelers listen to. Its the one that serves a region not a sliver of a valley. I asked today and it is a all digital link now so maybe before you profess to be a radio engineer you should get a hearing test.
And yes I do hope and think that my old station will do well. You dont and I think yoiu are wrong and rude. I think you show your age and outdated theories with the same old complaints that were true when you were watching you drug spot. Its too bad you didnty listen to that PSA

In just the last week, I've heard dead air on QWK, two sources of audio at the same time on WRSC, too much to list on WMAJ, mis-firing jingles on WQYX, Mike Donovan on WOWY, really bad audio on the WWOT morning show, a lot of dead air on WRTA, a six minute version of Katmandu on Q94, the list goes on and on.

On a personal note, I think its a little unfair to essentially "blame me" for any ratings decline. Fact is I gave some ideas and opinions. Some were followed, some were not. I can think of several possible reasons why G101 took a hit last go-around, but I feel its not quite right to place the burden on my shoulders when in fact I was barely ever in the "driver's seat". I won't go into specifics here, as those are conversations for all of us staffers "behind closed doors" but if the honest feeling is the ratings decline was my fault, perhaps we should all sit down and discuss that a bit further.ameyer said:

Hi Guys,
I'm a local in State College. During the summer i noticed that Hot 103 was gone and 'replaced' by G101 based on music played. Appearrently now Hot is on Hot 100.1 which is an Altonna station that i have no reception to in my house. I loved Hot 103 in the morning with the morinng gang like ken, janma, and the others. Now i have to wake up to G101's Ace and Tj which is bascially buch of hicks/rednecks (no offense) talking radio. And they are not even local so the news, weather and humor that i once depended on are no more. Just the other morning i heard them saying "What is Zombie Nation?" thats perttey sad. i cant stand these guys. So anyone know where the old hot 103 morning gang is ? or did they just get laid off?
and if they did what's a good SC station that broadcast local content?
