I certainly understand why Ben and Skin were let go, but how do they justify keeping Jagger on?

They're only a handful of places ahead of KDBN, (which has been on the air for 2 months and people are already calling a failure), and they're doing 'that well'???
And as has already been pointed out, they just took their highest rated show and s***-canned it.
Add up 3 hours of Scott and Hill, they have a 8.1 share. Add up 3 hours of Jagger, he has a 5.2. Add up the first 3 hours of Ben and Skin, they have a 5.1. Add up 3 hours of Newey and Salisbury, they have a 4.2.
So they just took the LEAST popular show on the station, split them up, and replaced higher drawing hosts with failures with new unknown sidekicks. Oh yeah, they're doing REALLY well.... :
