The Holiday 2014 survey period covers Thu. 12/4/14-Wed. 12/31/14 -
publicly released data for subscribing stations age 6+ overall:

The data release date will be Tue. 2/17/2015.

demo breakouts for the top 5 overall, top 5 in 25-54, top 5 in 18-34 and top 5 in 18-49

Interesting. KUHA up .3, KUHF down .3 with its "news" promotion. Could it be that NPR listeners are more interested in classical music than news?

The novelty factor of KROI is wearing off - down .4

KODA got the holiday music bump - big time! I call it holiday music because I wouldn't call a lot of it Christmas music. The birth of Jesus Christ, peace on earth - goodwill toward all me was sadly lacking in most of the music. I would call the format "have yourself a secular little Christmas".

One thing I notice in Houston - the sports stations are pretty much all really low. All of them combined still rate less than KTRH. Is the cash cow that used to be sports radio fading - or is this just a local phenomenon?
