Houston's Gay Community now have a "mainstream" radio show

Re: Houston Gay Community now have a "mainstream" radio show

Why is this different than CC targeting any other demographic in Hewstun? Even on their HD radio page, they have the following listing: WKSS-FM - Gay Radio / The Pride[EDIT=Topic Subject changed from original post for derogatory comment]

Because Houston is quite conservative, therefore it's a bit of a shock to some people. However, we knew the show was coming to Mix, it was talked about in December.[EDIT=Topic Subject changed from original post for derogatory comment]

The entire city isn't that conservative. One of (if not THE) the most profitable clubs is a gay bar near downtown. If there's a market for it....[EDIT=Topic Subject changed from original post for derogatory comment]

LOL!!!

Here I am thinking it was the Sam Malone show. Stumbled upon that a couple months ago while channel surfing. It's a joke. Really not all that different from what you typically hear on Mix. Rod Ryan and Mr. Kenneth would make a better show.

And God forbid any of Houston's good clean conservative christian residents might think there was gay individual or thousands in their midst. What century are we in? Maybe after all the bashing, gay and or otherwise that occurs on this site, we can all go to church, hold hands and sing gospel hemns together. Maybe even go to the Gay church off of TC Jester.

I listened to the show for a while tonight. It was good! I'm impressed. And glad that the powers that be at Mix took a chance on doing something like that in a red state.
