and bring back a real morning show like The Russ Parr Morning Show. Is it just me or does Miss Jones just seem to be the most aggravating [EDIT-name calling] out there!!

BRING BACK Y-100!
you may have a point there. But that still doesnt answer my question. Obviously, you are a fan of Miss Jones and your feelings seem to be hurt.sack said:If you don't like Miss Jones, don't listen. And if you find someone that does like her, turn them on to something else (better). Isn't that the way this is supposed to work,, if you have an audience you stay on the air,, if you don't, you are on the beach. Any protests will only give her more press, and more press means more listeners.
Also, just because someone is on the air does not mean they have credibility. If you listen and accept what they have to say,, YOU give them cred.

More like you're not, and yours are. Sack's points are very good ones; they just don't support your anti-Miss Jones bias.
its not really a witch hunt sir/ma'am. Its just ever since I moved down here to South Jersey from Boston, Ma, she's the only hip-hop morning show that is on here besides Big Boy's Neighborhood on Power 99(98.9).DToTheJ said:Mr. Chise (or shall I address you by your first name, Fran):
What's with the Miss Jones witch hunt? What did she ever do to you?
THANK YOU!!!SUPERSTARSTATUS said:Well, we --in NYC-- have now gotten Big Boy's Neighborhood (not sure if that's any better) as a replacement for Miss Jones. I'm OVERJOYED she's off air here, the time had truly come. The show was tasteless in every way. However, two things, the transition could have been placed in the hands of more able talent but thanks to cost cutting that didn't happen; and, what's with all their talents going to, and growing, underground stations?
FYI--I'm not opposed to the underground--they do give the people what they "want" on a very personal and interactive level embracing the communities they serve.
