I find this odd especially when Al-Jazeera intent was to go after the BBC News Audience, PBS Newshour and NPR News Demographics. This is especially when Al-Jazeera promised to fight against the players I mentioned for more investigative reporting and international stories

They don't subscribe to have numbers made public yet; there's a grace period of a few years where Nielsen doesn't report for new networks to give them time to get carriage. Same happened with Fox Business Network; no numbers for the first four years outside of estimates here and there.

That could be more of a decision rather than a grace period, as Bloomberg is pretty established. In addition with business networks (CNBC gets bit by this too) out-of-home viewing is not properly registered, such as at financial offices, brokerages, etc.

Well True Al-Jazeera used to provide Simulcasts to Pacifica affiliates from 2010-2013 but Al-Jazeera was also on Linktv, MHZTV, Free SpeechTV around the same time. This was until Al-Jazeera Bought old Current TV.
