How Do You Get KDWN AM 720 Or Other Las Vegas Stations On Shortwave Radio?

maybe someone meant they get kdum's big signal on the am band of a radio that has shortwave bands as well.....like a sony, grundig or sangean etc that can receive AM signals better or as well as the much hyped cc radio...I could pick up kdum and kfi in the afternoon on my sony 2010 from northern calif. ...alot of the old nuts that listen to kdum don't know what kind of radio they have....

I can understand the confusion. KDWN sounds like it should be on shortwave. If you live on the west coast, and not too close to a station on 710 or 720, any radio should work at night. If you're out in the Pacific (Hawaii), a communications receiver and a good loop or EWE (u) antenna might help. If you're much east of the longitude of Phoenix, nothing you do will help much because the signal isn't beamed in your direction and they don't stream. Call your bookie and ask him to hold the phone to his radio. :D
