The new Comcast structure is finally over the L1 mast and in many areas obstructs the MMR antenna. In some spots of Philly you cannot see the mast because its being obstructed by Comcast's building, I do not know if the building is going any higher, but now, the top is even with the top of the mast. I heard that MMR has been using its backup on the PSFS which always had a fantastic coverage area, can anyone confirm this.

MMR still pretty good in Pottsville, Great in levittown, and great over in seaside heights

WMMR should transmit from another location and leave the Liberty Place site for the best possible signal coverage across the area

I walked by the comcast building the other day at about 1PM and the sun was shining at just the right angle so as to reflect off of it and light up the street I was on about a block away.

I still have the sunburns to prove it.

Sounds like a local station in Point Pleasant (Ocean County -NJ)

Same in the Toms River area. Always a reliable, strong signal. Programming, not so strong (and I like rock).

You can't judge the station's signal this week. There has been tropo every day. I can say that MMR has a good signal in Long Island.

Is THAT what happened? I used to get MMR all the way down in some parts of Baltimore county, most of Harford and ALL of Cecil counties. AT least now I know why it won't come in at work almost all the time.

I don't think so. Comcast Center is a little north of One Liberty Place by a couple of blocks. I don't think I'll block the 29 thousand watt flame thrower serving New Jersey, Delaware, and all of Pennsylvania from the top of One Liberty Place

But it doesn't serve all of PA, DE or NJ for that matter...
How about 93.1 in Cape May interfering?
93.5 in Georgetown, DE
93.5 in Mechanicsburg, PA?

First off... {{{{{shiver}}}}}}} (chills of the ****** variety)

Secondly... ALL of Pennsylvania? What about Williamsport, where Oldies 93 WBZD occupies the frequency? And, where I am in Wilkes-Barre, where The Word FM beams from the top top top top of Penobscott Mountain with 10 bitchin watts of insanity!

I was in Edison / Woodbridge for T-day dinner. It was full stereo and stopped on the seek and scan. Same for 97.5. WYSP, WOGL were "receivable", but not driveable. MMR was.

That's pretty good considering how close WPAT is to you in Edison. What kinda radio you got in your ride?
Something that must null out locals pretty well.

I'd be suprised if the signal in parts of MontCo wasn't impacted somewhat given Comcast's location relative to Liberty One.
Obviously, South Jersey, Delaware and Maryland would not be affected.

JHII..it's a factory issue Bose in an Infinity. Very similar, nearly identical, to the ones in Nissans. Sadly, Mud for AM, but good FM adjacent channel rejection.
