How is Steel City Media doing with changes in Kansas City-stations KMXV and KCKC?

Last October Steel City purchased Wilk's cluster of stations in Kansas City. Among the changes, I have noticed Mix leaning much more towards current tracks, and do not wait Cumulus-style on adds, are more rhythmic and current leaning, and much more cutting-edge than even several other larger markets. KCKC the AC in town (I know it isn't CHR, but largely now includes CHR content) has transformed from playing dated 80s tracks to being a current pop-based format playing a lot of current tracks (Meghan Trainor, Katy Perry, ect.) alongside some older pop tracks. What do you think?
