How Long Before The New Pulse 87 Goes The Way Of IPartyRadio?

The longtime Internet dance music radio station recently pulled the plug, just shy of its fifth birthday.

The goodbye message posted on its front page (www.ipartyradio.com/+ipartyradio&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us]cached [/url]because their website now redirects to their Facebook fan page) :

iPartyRadio thanks you all for 5 amazing years of memories. Sadly, we have to say goodbye. Today will be our final day on the air.
We have outgrown the old royalty system and cannot afford the rates needed on the new system with our current structure, so FOR NOW we have to say goodbye. Perhaps we'll be able to restructure and return one day.... Nonetheless, thank you so much for the love and the memories.
Wednesday, May 26th will be our final day of webcasting and will go off the air at midnight central with our final goodbyes.
We will miss you.

It's good to see Pulse 87's spirit live on in the form of an Internet stream but, truthfully, how long can it last?

Well, another stream was launching right after iPartyRadio went off the air. They bill themselves as dancehitzz.com. So, in my view, you lose one, and then you gain one.

This is their IP to listen to their stream.

64.244.62.216

And of course, I'm on Live365 with my stream as well.

As far as Pulse goes, I wonder how Joel can have Pulse AND the Original Hot 97 running since he owns both streams.

As long as Joel can financially support the stream.
