The writing has been on the wall. Smooth Jazz is dead. The Mays Family Broadcasting Company out of of San Ann-Tone only has three stations left in the format, Phoenix being the only market of size and importance (sorry Temecula!).

When will President England pull the trigger so we can hear Rush in glorious stereo?
 
I'll go eat a green chili relleno, an egg salad sandwich and a warm beer and "speak" like Rush if you will leave my Ky-O-tay alone.
 
Here we go again. Clear Channel looks at the revenue generated by KYOT and the low overhead. Then they look at KFWhyEye's revenue and cost structure and leave everything alone. Smooth Jazz doesn't have much of a future. And the future of newstalk on Ancient Modulation © aint that much better. And the winner is...........
