The same can be said for internet radio. I can't stand those CNET ads that constantly repeat.

My beef is the 4 min commercial blocks with about 9-10 min to go in a 1 hr program. That's why I have a 2nd program option.
Message to A and E, History, Nat Geo etc "the strategy doesn't work, we do have a remote."

Commercial messages in the lower portion of the screen. I'm seeing local stations putting ads for local businesses (much like the network promos for other shows). Also, these things need to come out of news crawls which also need to go back to only important breaking news, a sale on a dozen donuts does not qualify as breaking news.

Ever expanding bugs in the corner.

Or bugs on every corner

Top right corner #IRT with twitter logo
Bottom left corner, bug says "IRT Season Premere"
Bottom Right corner, bug with History logo and some promo for an upcoming show.

Antenna TV is a breath of fresh air. Not a single on-screen bug or ID during any of their programming. Ever.
