how to get free xm, or pay without using a credit card, I dont have a credit car

Does anyone know how to get free XM,, my brother cancelled his script, but they never shut off his radio, that was for sirius though.. Also,, can you get XM without a credit card, cause if you can, I dont have a problem paying,, I just dont have a credit card.
 
NVMD you do need a credit card.. Dsregard my first question, im not interested in stealing the service, however, is their a way to get like a week for free to check it out, online or something,.
 
Buy a unit and activate it over the phone. Ask for invoice billing. They'll send you a bill that you can pay. You don't have to pay before they activate the service, but you have to ask for invoice billing. They don't advertise it, and it's not available on the website.
 
Another option might be to get an XM gift card, unlike the prepaid credit cards, if you want a $30 card, you pay $30, not the amount of the card, plus a few other charges. I've seen the XM Gift Cards at Wal-Mart, Sears, Best Buy and Target and if I'm not mistaken, Radio Shack as well. (as it is, regardless of what type of card you use, you are going to have to pay a charge to have your XM activated, I don't know if its still the case, but the activation fee you to be less if you activated the account yourself over the internet, so if you bought an XM gift card, I'm guessing you could use the PIN number on that card to activate a new account online.

Just checked, the XM or Sirius Gift Cards come in the following donominations: $30, $55, $95 or $175 and on the Best Buy website they imply that the gift card can be used for activation.

You will need a receiver and an antenna. If you don't have them, you can sign up for a FREE 30 day trial of Internet XM. If you don't cancel, you will be billed at $12.95 per month. But you will need a credit card to sign up for the free 30 day trial. You'll have to go to the sign up page, then look for INTERNET ONLY. Not easy to find on their sign up page.
 
I figured out how to sign up for the internet only trial,,, and im actually not too impressed with the Dance and the Decades Channels,, the CHR channels are ok but their are plenty of them on my local FM and on the net.. I just found a bunch of cool channels online that I can listen to in my car, plus ive got 4 CHRs, and 1 oldies station, 1 classic hits, and one Jack type station, though with a rhythmic ac lean,, the only thing I dont have on FM or internet is a true Rhythmic CHR, but I couldnt find a real rhythmic on XM either,, their channel called The heat is more mainstream urban. I didnt care for the SQ on the Classical and Jazz channels either,, those type of channels need a higher bitrate with good stereo seperation.
 
Since I know you like dance, just get a data plan for your phone and choose from the over 20 online dance stations instead of settling for the one dance station on satellite.
