I do remember at this time Bobby Ocean was doing the station ID's for the Big 610 when it was oldies in the 1990's. But I also do remember when 99.7 and 610 split the simulcasts. I do remember the Big 610 in the 1990's did air sports like Oakland A's baseball up to the MoneyBall era and 99.7 was pure oldies back then.

OMG!!! Howard Hoffman was off the wall!!!! I would listen to him and laugh my a$$ off. He is so unique. I think that was his second go 'round in SF. He was earlier on KMEL when they flipped from Rock to Top 40, All Hit 106 KMEL! I think that was in '83 or '84

The former VO of KABC 790. He, the legendary Jim Ladd, and several others were cut loose by Cumulus today.

When the truly talented are the first to go, it's not a good sign...
