Howie Carr sites for sale? Ending of friendship??

I'm trying to remember who set up all these sites for Howie--one of his helpers or friends or
something. I don't know if the name would be available on a WHOIS search but what's up here?
The howiecarr.us site appaeared when it looked like Howie might jump to 96.9 at the end of
last yr (but RKO picked up their option) and "this way we can keep you informed as to where
I'm going"

Howie off today , off to Cleveland or NYC or somewhere.
 
WHOIS search says Larry Bruce holds the howiecarr.us domain name. That sounds right. Howie called him "Larry the Loner" on air. He had been engineer for several stations incl SSC radio years back. End of a friendship?
 
Howies oldest daughter frannie was founding producer of the emily rooney shoe on radio. Emily would mention her on-air. Tonight he sed his oldest daughter was Caroline. What gives
 
Could be that Carr is distinguishing between the kids he had with the first wife and second.

I saw Frannie Carr listed on the WBUR page and wondered if she was his daughter, but assumed that Rooney wouldn't hire Howie Carr's daughter.
 
Larry Bruce's howiecarr.us has been pruned of past material like Howie columns and stuff related to the show but he promises new content. Howie makes it sound on air like the site (domain name now up for sale, "ending of a friendship") is gone and people should go to howieatrifleman dot com Clearly this is to help promote his forthcoming book but I note howiecarrshow.com
points to the same "new" site he has. I would think he should mention that as it's easy to
remember. Both registered by his wife

this site for sale bits, no Larry Bruce tales of Howie...
wonder if they reconciled or is there legal stuff
going on...
 
Larry Bruce must have found a buyer for howiecarr.us
The whois shows he still owns it but it's in the process of being transferred and the new
registrar is 1&1 Domains. The site shows a "parked" page. Not sure who bought it.

(Mrs. Carr is the one who registered howiecarrshow dot com for Howie)
Whomever bought howiecarr.us prob got the other related sites in a deal. mumblesmenino.us also
shows the 1&1 message...same with liveshot.cc

Update: mumblesmenino.us shows Mrs. Carr now owns the domain or maybe she did all along.
I note the corp name is "Frandell LLC"--I think Howie's mom was/is named Frances while his
dad, the late Howard Louis Carr Sr., was nicknamed "Del".
 
http://www.howiecarr.us now identical to howiecarrshow.com I think Howie got that site back
and maybe his others (dedicated to Patrick, Ted K, Menino, Kerry) are also back in his control.
No idea what the tiff with Larry Bruce was all about.
