I’m just curious about that if I own a radio station in NYC to broadcast a radio station from Ibiza. Like isla 106 Ibiza? Do you have engineering information or tip . Just curious about that. This is station Isla106.com

I don't see the point of rebroadcasting a Canary Islands station in New York, assuming you could even get a facility, which you likely can't

Maybe the poster just wants to relay this station's internet stream on a very low-power transmitter, akin to the 100mw CB walkie-talkies so familiar to baby boom kids. Is that legal, or would the poster (can't tell from the photo how joylovepulse self-identifies) be subject to legal action from the FCC or management of Isla 106?

Best to let this question go.
I’m just curious

This is the same OP that was looking for a salesperson in another thread.

If you have an internet stream, you have the means to get the signal to anywhere you want. The bigger questions are legal ones and figuring out how to finance something like this. People in New York are not going to patronize advertisers from thousands of miles away, so you'd need to pay a station in NYC to insert commercials and ID's, as well as provide a signal.

OP may want to look into getting SCA bandwidth (preferrably 67 kHz) on some station and retransmitting it there. Probably won't get anywhere, but he/she/they/it can say H/S/T/I tried.

What the hell is that "he/she/they/it" stuff about? If you look at her profile pictures, it's obvious that she is someone who has ties to a popular Dance format club and station. People in those occupations often dress nice and hip, and use photo edits to enhance their bio photo.
IIRC, the website showed her as air talent.

I couldn't tell either from the tiny profile pix. Sorry.

When you're logged in, then you can click once or twice and enlarge the profile photos. She's really attractive...as are many of our forum members.

…and if I wanted to I could make Elvis Presley my profile photo. I don’t see any forum rule stating a profile photo must be an actual photo of the actual person using it.

I wouldn't want my current photo on there. I feel old enough, without looking at it.
That's why my photo is from when I was 16 and being interviewed on YSU in San Salvador!

well the first thing you need is permission to use the originating stations intellectual and or copyrighted property for commercial/broadcast/internet use in the US.

Then you need to address the music licensing costs/rights in the US

Then there are the regulatory issues which we could address for months

Then you need to address that the content does not violate any US restrictions such as the Pacifica decision....

Then you have to figure out how to monetize it so that you can pay for all of the above and pay yourself and make a return on your investment.

Oh don't forget the Lawyers, Consultants, Engineers, and the rest of the three ring circus

Let us know how it works out for you....

Oh how much working capital do you have to risk?

i would start by asking some very smart media lawyers in both Spain and the US about copyright and music licensing laws.
Maybe some radio syndicator might be inclined to create a service that would integrate and distribute similar niche programming to American stations, for their HD2 channels. It could be a nightmare for one station to try and do alone.
