I remember backin the 1990's that VH1 was the NAC and smooth Jazz of TV.

The reason Dave Koz and Kenny G did music video's along with Luther Vandross, Sade and Enya on VH1 back then. VH1 was the Chill, Smooth Jazz and New Age station back then. While MTV split their playlists between CHR, AAA formats, and rap.
 
Yeah I remember that. I saw a video for Long Train Home by Pat Metheny on VH1
