I see where the talk station at 1570 has picked up laura ingraham

There has been a divorce between laura ingraham and salem so mike gallagher is now 9-noon and laura flips over to 1570. I bet laura does better then mike.Mike has been on gtk on that shift before and gtk seems to end up moving his show eventually so we shall see.

Does anyone know why laura and salem communications got a divorce??? Her show seems to do well???

Laura will not do better than Mike because of 1570's signal.

Maybe. But Laura is LOTS better than Mike. And she comes on at a time of day when 1570 is full power all year. It covers Jefferson, Clark, and Floyd counties well enough at full power, and that's really all you need. http://radio-locator.com/cgi-bin/pat?call=WNDA&service=AM&status=L&hours=D


And I don't think Laura has to beat Mike to make the 1570 people very, very happy. She only has to come close.
 
But also remember wgtk does not personally seem to like mike at the 9 hour in the am they always seem to move him to tape delay later on.

Salem was irritated at the lockout between her and TRN. They decided when the contract with her syndicator was over, they were going to dump her...which they did. Ingraham was popular in Louisville, She should have no problem attracting her audience over to 1570.

1570 should have bumped Beck and kept Laura in her timeslot.
