I can *SOMETIMES* get KNX here in southern Michigan, but it's a very difficult catch. The best I can do on a regular basis is KOA Denver, CO in the 1,000 mile range and WWL just shy of 900 miles.
I *THINK* I had Vancouver on 1040 a couple weeks ago, but WHO was wayy too strong for me to make out anything from CKST. All I heard was a mention of Sarah Burke, the Canadian snowboarder, passing away earlier that day.
Decided to check KMOX again tonight, got a bit of the Blues game. No problem hearing the commentary as I have listened to the online feed at the Blues' website. If WOWO were still 50,000 watts all the time, I'd love to have gotten it.

Here in Central VA, I can sometimes pull in KMOX in St Louis. Usually fairly listenable then too. I find that its a good indicator of how the DX'ing will be that particular night. My gauge, if you will.
The farthest West catches for me here so far have been 800 KXIC In Iowa City, Iowa, and 830 AM WCCO in Minneapolis, MN. The latter being pretty weak, but enough I could ID them several times.
I have read, unfortunately, that a new 1120 has been approved for Coral Springs, Florida, 45 minutes northeast of me. Who in the world wants a new AM station, anyway??? <shrug>
Chuck Harder? At one time he was trying to corner the market on CPs in Florida
(assuming you don't believe the rumors that he died in 2006 and an impersonator
continued to do his show for 2 1/2 more years)
