Why would Hot swap signals with Mix or Mega? All three stations are 100kw signals broadcasting from the same tower farm in MoCity. Each station's coverage area is identical to the other—there is no advantage. Listener confusion is the only thing a swap would accomplish.

As for an all-out format change; CBS is about to have a killer combo to go up against KRBE—from the adult end (via KHMX) and the young end (via KKHH.) Knocking down KRBE a few notches so that one of the other CBS stations could float up is exactly why Hot exists to begin with. Why would they throw that away so quickly?

If anything is happening on Monday, it will be merely a contest announcement at the least or a rebrand to one of the CBS brands at the most. I'm more inclined to expect the former. Hats off to Hot for getting everyone's attention, though.
 
As long as they dont make this another spanish language station its all good. Houston is in need of a solid rock/metal station. theres is WAY to many spanish language stations here.
