I thought 1240 was moving to 880, not staying where it is too

When will the 880/1240 simulcast end or will it end?

It may not be a bad idea for the simulcast to stay.

Look what simulcasting has done for The Fish.

Although, if Tuned In threw some cash around, Lightning 100.1/1240
wouldn't be a bad idea either.

Jet, I think eventually WNSG will wind up on 880

1240 will go Spanish, as is the usual case for stations Davidson buys. The fact that they're ostensibly preserving the gospel programming on 880 surprises, and pleases, me.................Doug "NashRadio"

1240 already has gone spanish. It happened between 11:30 and 12:p.M today.

Actually, it happened before that. I was listening about 10:30 AM and they were already broadcasting in spanish. I don't know when they switched, but they were already spanish at 10:30 this morning.

Is it regular spanish or Christian spanish? I think it's regular.

Wow, I am amazed. I thought I was a radio junkie. I cannot believe so many people are aware of what is going on at AM radio stations. I'm not knocking any of you but as far as I am conserned all AM's in Nashville could shut down except for 1510, 650, and 560, and the way 650 has slipped the last few years (minimalizing what once was a great news department, taking Hariol Hensley off afternoon drive, killing off a really good allnight show with Matthew Gilliam and I'm probably forgetting a thing or two) I 'm not sure if they still deserve to be on my short list. I am amazed.
