I know you might not believe this but I was actually able to pick up an FM station at 95.5 FM on my digital tuning walkman headphone radio, that is located in Lafayette, Louisiana when I was in Pinconning, Michigan.

Q 95.5 is a radio station at 95.5Mhz located in Lafayette, Louisiana.

How in the world was I able to pick up a Hip-Hop station named Q 95.5 located in southern Louisiana all the way up in Pinconning, Michigan?

We get a lot of atmospheric skipping "heat inversion" here. At times, we can't even pick up our local stations while someone is hearing us across the country. In lay man's terms, it has something to do with the layers of humidity and how the radio waves get trapped in them. Always nice to hear from another Michigander. Y'all come on down and visit sometime.
