Ian Freeman Of "Free Talk Live" Goes To Jail

"Free Talk Live" will continue with Mark Edge hosting, while Ian is in the clink... and I know Ian checks in on this board from time to time, so unless they have Internet privileges where he's going, we won't hear from him here, either... But I've met Ian at a Talkers seminar a few years ago, and he's a really good guy... can't believe he has to go through this.

he probally is a good guy and i can appreciate the spirit of his activities. if he continues to interfear this is what he can expect to happen.

its not like its the first time he did something like that.he himself said he stopped a drug arrest with his interfearence.

problem is we or perhaps he does not know the whole story behind the people the police are dealing with.perhaps the drug perp was involved and wanted for violent crime.perhaps the woman the police were going to " kidnap" was too drunk to drive safely and was determoned to get in her car and drive away.

Okay, so lemme get this straight. Nelson Mandela went to jail for protesting Apartheid.

Ian went to jail for protesting... the right to drink beer in a public park?

Okay then...

“Free Talk Live” will be adding a Sunday night version to its programming schedule. Freeman said the added show comes as a result of affiliate demand and he believes it’s the only show that offers live programs seven nights per week."

Isn't Coast To Coast AM live all week long?

^ yep.so it may be the second.

Or the third (John Batchelor). Or the fourth (Red Eye Radio). Or the fifth, if you want to count America's Trucking Network, as it's no longer really syndicated.

Ian wasn't protesting anything. Ian went to jail for trying to stop a cop from arresting a woman who was drinking beer in a park.

^on saturday night coast to coast airs an old art bell episode before the live show.but it does air new episodes 7 days a week.

Somewhere in Time is packaged as a classic Art Bell showcase, just like the Coast to Coast AM "Early Edition," which is just the last weekday's rerun but with different spots. I was specifically referring to the 1AM-5AM broadcast.

Maybe I should have said "nighttime daypart". ;)

Dig a little deeper.

I was standing in favor of the right to own yourself. Being able to enjoy a beer in a park on a Sunday afternoon is merely one thing you can do if you own yourself.

Yep - I'll be there. Congrats on expanding your show. I hear you're on the same network now.
